Getting Started
What is Resume Minter?
Resume Minter is a resume-building tool that lets you create a polished, ATS-friendly resume using professionally designed templates, then download it as a PDF or Word document. You fill in your details once, and can switch templates, fonts, and colors without retyping anything.
Do I need to create an account to use it?
Yes. A free account lets us save your resume as you edit it, so you can come back and pick up where you left off. Creating an account takes less than a minute and doesn't require a credit card.
Is Resume Minter free to use?
You can create one resume, use any template, and download it as a PDF for free — your first PDF download is on us. Beyond that, keeping multiple resumes in progress, additional PDF downloads, and Word (.docx) downloads require an active subscription. See Pricing for current plans.
Templates & Customization
How many templates do you offer, and can I switch anytime?
We offer 20+ templates across classic, modern, executive, and creative styles. You can switch between templates at any time, as many times as you like, at no extra charge — your content carries over automatically.
Are your templates ATS-friendly?
Yes. Every template is built with clean, standard formatting that applicant tracking systems (ATS) can parse correctly — proper headings, readable fonts, and no content hidden in images or graphics that would confuse a scanner.
Can I customize the font and size of my resume?
Yes. Each section of your resume (Summary, Experience, Education, Skills, and more) has its own font and font-size controls, so you can fine-tune the look of individual sections rather than the whole document at once. Changes appear instantly in your live preview and carry through to your downloaded file.
Can I choose an accent color for my resume?
Yes, every template supports a customizable accent color, which you can change from the resume editor using the color picker next to your resume title.
Downloads & Formats
What file formats can I download my resume in?
You can download your resume as a PDF (a pixel-perfect copy of your chosen template) or as a Word (.docx) file (a clean, single-column format optimized for editing and for applicant tracking systems).
How does the free PDF download work?
Every free account gets exactly one PDF download at no cost. Once you've used it, downloading another PDF (or any Word document) requires an active subscription. Your resume editor shows how many free downloads you have remaining.
Why isn't Word/DOCX available for free?
Word downloads are a subscriber-only feature and are never included in the free tier, even before you've used your free PDF download. This helps keep Resume Minter sustainable while still giving everyone a free way to try the product.
Will my custom fonts and colors show up in the downloaded file?
Your template, accent color, and per-section font/size choices all carry through to your PDF download exactly as shown in the live preview. Word documents use a simplified, single-column layout by design (to stay reliably ATS-compatible), so some visual styling like sidebar layouts or custom fonts won't appear there — the content itself is always complete either way.
Plans & Pricing
What plans do you offer?
We offer a simple Monthly plan and a Quarterly plan (billed every 3 months, at a lower effective rate than paying monthly). Both include unlimited resumes, every template, and unlimited PDF and Word downloads.
Where can I see current pricing?
Current rates for both plans are always shown on our Pricing page, which reflects the exact amount you'll be charged at checkout.
Can prices change after I've subscribed?
We may adjust pricing over time, but any change only applies to new subscribers signing up after that point. If you're already subscribed, you keep your existing rate for as long as your subscription stays active and uninterrupted. See our Terms of Service for the full clause.
Is there a limit on how many resumes I can create?
Free accounts can keep one resume in progress at a time. Subscribers can create and manage unlimited resumes — handy if you're tailoring different versions for different roles.
Billing & Payments
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are handled through Razorpay's secure checkout, which supports major cards, UPI, net banking, and popular wallets. The exact options shown at checkout may vary based on your bank and location.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed directly by Razorpay. Resume Minter never sees or stores your full card number, UPI ID, or bank account details — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Who actually processes my payment — Resume Minter or someone else?
Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway, processes every transaction on our behalf. ResumeMinter Services is the merchant of record, and your subscription is managed within the Resume Minter app.
Managing Your Subscription
How do I subscribe?
Go to the Pricing page, choose Monthly or Quarterly, and complete checkout through Razorpay. Your account updates automatically once payment is confirmed.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Select "Manage Plan" in the navigation menu (shown once you're subscribed), then click "Cancel subscription" and confirm. You can also email services@resumeminter.com to request cancellation.
What happens to my resumes and downloads after I cancel?
Cancellation stops future renewals — you keep full access to paid features until the end of the billing cycle you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that. Your resumes themselves are never deleted when you cancel; you'll simply be limited to one saved resume and the standard free-tier download allowance going forward.
Do I get a refund if I cancel partway through a billing cycle?
No. Cancelling stops future charges, but we don't provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a cycle you've already paid for. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
Refunds
Can I get a refund?
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once billed. The one exception is a genuine technical or payment-processing error — for example, a duplicate charge or a payment that didn't correctly activate your subscription. In that case, we'll investigate and refund the erroneous charge.
How do I request a refund?
Email services@resumeminter.com within 7 days of the charge, including your registered email address, the approximate date and amount of the charge, and a short description of the issue. We'll review and respond as quickly as we can.
How long does a refund take to arrive?
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay and typically take about 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.
Account & Security
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your account email. We'll send you a secure link to reset your password — it's valid for a limited time for your security.
Is my resume data private?
Yes. Your resume content is stored securely and is only ever used to display it back to you and generate your downloads — we don't share it with third parties or use it to train any external AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account and my data?
Yes. Email services@resumeminter.com and we'll delete your account and associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain records (such as payment history) for legal or accounting purposes.
Do you sell my personal information?
No, never. We only share information with the service providers necessary to run Resume Minter — such as Razorpay for payments — never for marketing or resale.
