How to get the best deals

  1. Check whether the "discount" is real. Use Rufus to see 30–90 day price history before buying. Many items get marked up shortly before a sale.
  2. Pick the right card for each purchase. SBI's 10% beats Amazon Pay ICICI's 5% until you hit the SBI cap, which takes about ₹1,37,500 of eligible spend. After that, switch to the ICICI card. Add-on SBI cards have their own separate cap, which helps families buying several big items. For EMI purchases, use an SBI credit card: credit card EMI gets the discount, but debit card EMI does not.
  3. Be ready before early access opens. Add items to your cart and wishlist now, save your address and card, and update the app. Popular deals go fast.
  4. Stack every offer. Combine bank discount + coupon + exchange + Prime extras + No Cost EMI. Exchange offers can be worth a lot on phones and TVs, so check your old device's exchange value in advance.
  5. Compare with Flipkart. Big Billion Days opens to everyone on October 9. Check the same product on both, especially iPhones and TVs, before paying.
  6. Watch the time-limited formats. Watch the 8 PM Deals and Blockbuster Deals. Lightning deals rotate daily.
  7. Don't rush everything on day one. Some categories get fresh deals later as Diwali approaches. Rush only for limited-stock electronics you've already researched.
  8. Avoid scams. Only buy through the official app or amazon.in. Ignore WhatsApp or SMS links claiming "secret Amazon deals."
