How to choose and apply

  1. Shortlist by eligibility first. Check your age on each exam's cut-off date, your percentage and any subject requirements.
  2. Match the job to your strengths and lifestyle. Defence and police need physical fitness and accept postings anywhere; banking suits people strong in maths and reasoning; civil services demand broad knowledge and long preparation.
  3. Check the calendar. Use our Upcoming Government Exams 2027: Complete Calendar to plan notification and exam dates.
  4. Register on official portals only. Create your One Time Registration on UPSC and SSC portals early, and keep scanned documents ready.
  5. Read every notification fully. Eligibility, fees, reservations and document rules change.
  6. Avoid scams. No genuine government recruiter asks for money for guaranteed selection. Only trust .gov.in, .nic.in or the organisation's own website, and follow employmentnews.gov.in for all central notifications.
