What to expect in Electronics and Appliances Diwali Sale 2026?

Published October 4, 2026 · Resume Minter

Expect Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales to run their biggest electronics sales of the year between Navratri (11 October) and Diwali (8 November 2026), built on bank discounts of 10% or more, exchange bonuses, combo freebies and long no-cost EMI. None of the three had published full 2026 sale dates at the time of writing, so this article combines what is confirmed for 2026 with what each chain delivered in its 2024 and 2025 Diwali sales.

Diwali Electronics Mega Sale 2026 banner

The one firm 2026 signal so far is from brands: MSI's Diwali offers run 1–31 October at Croma and Vijay Sales, with a free 1-year extended warranty worth ₹4,999 on eligible laptops and EMI up to 24 months (Business Standard). Expect more brand-funded offers like this to appear as the festive window opens.

Dates at a glance

Deal sites disagree on dates for all three chains, so treat every date below as an estimate until the retailer announces it.

CromaFestival of Dreams (Dussehra to Diwali)Estimates range from mid-October to mid-November (Couponswala)Not announced (Bajaj Finserv)

Key festival dates to plan around: Navratri 11–19 October, Dussehra 20 October, Dhanteras 6 November and Diwali 8 November 2026.

Reliance Digital: Festival of Electronics

Expect instant bank discounts of up to about ₹20,000, big finance cashbacks, and "buy this, get a TV free" combos. That is the pattern of the last two editions, which ran in stores, at My Jio and JioMart Digital outlets, and on reliancedigital.in.

What 2025 offered (Daily Excelsior, The Hans India):

What 2024 offered (The Samikhsya): instant bank discounts up to ₹15,000, in-store finance benefits up to ₹22,500, gaming laptops with RTX 3050 from ₹50,999, and a free air fryer with washer-dryers.

What to expect in 2026: a similar mix, with bank discounts likely at or above last year's ₹20,000 ceiling, combo freebies on premium TVs and laptops, and the Buy More Save More appliance offer. Reliance Digital often pairs its sale with complimentary extended warranty plans on select products.

Croma: Festival of Dreams

Expect Croma's festive sale, Festival of Dreams, to run from Dussehra through Diwali, with discounts across TVs, ACs, refrigerators and phones plus rotating 10% bank offers. Croma had not announced 2026 dates as of August. Its 2025 sale went nationwide from 22 September, and with Diwali later this year the 2026 start may also be later (Bajaj Finserv). Croma's site already shows a festive offers page in early October (DealsMagnet).

What to expect:

Vijay Sales: Diwali Sale

Expect Vijay Sales' Diwali sale somewhere between Navratri and Diwali, with its usual strengths: card-specific bank discounts, strong appliance pricing and delivery from its own stores. The chain had not announced 2026 dates. Trackers expect the sale in the 11 October to 8 November window (Zoutons).

Retail chains vs Amazon and Flipkart

Amazon and Flipkart usually win on headline phone prices. The three chains often win on big appliances, installation and after-sales support.

The chains' biggest edge is that you can see the TV or fridge before buying, and staff can sometimes match an online price or add freebies at the counter.

How to get the best deal

  1. Shortlist during Navratri, buy closer to Dussehra or Dhanteras. Use 11–19 October to compare models and prices across all three chains and online.
  2. Get a written quote from each store. Ask for the final price after all offers, then show it to the next store. Chains often match or add a freebie.
  3. Match your card to the week's bank offer. Chains rotate bank partners, so check which card gets the discount before you go.
  4. Compare the total, not the sticker. Include delivery, installation, stand or bracket, and old-appliance pickup. A ₹1,000 cheaper online TV can cost more once installation is added.
  5. Value freebies honestly. A "free 43-inch TV" is worth what you would actually pay for it, not its MRP.
  6. Check exchange values in advance. Get your old phone, TV or fridge valued at two places before accepting an offer.
  7. Read the EMI fine print. "No-cost" EMI can carry processing fees or remove the instant discount.
  8. Buy ACs now, not in summer. Festive and end-of-season pricing is usually well below April–May prices.
  9. Keep the invoice and warranty card. Register the product with the brand to activate any free extended warranty.
